Small Business Operations

Having worked with a wide variety of small businesses and their owners, Cheryn is very attuned to the concerns of the folks who are already wearing too many hats. Working on web design and app projects in all scales of enterprise - from international associations to small local businesses - has given her experience with an array of options for every organization, which she puts in to play creating a tailored solution to fit each project.

As an operations manager, Cheryn has on-the-ground knowledge of every step required to pull off a project, be it the marketing and launch of a new offering, setting up a submissions and review process for an academic conference, streamlining a store inventory system or setting up a vendor booth at a convention center and running it for five days straight. Streamlining user experience and building sustainable capacity are the rules she lives by! She can see a logistical problem from a mile away and accurately forecast both the opportunities and the unintended adjustments that may come along with a change in plans. Planning events is supporting community, and she believes that there is nothing more important than clear communication and trust throughout the process. 

Good merchandising and UX design go hand in hand when building a website or app, and Cheryn knows what questions to ask to keep maintenance time down and user-friendliness high! Wordpress, SquareSpace, Wix, and more - Cheryn has seen it all. (As you may have noticed from her own site, she knows how to keep things frugal and functional, while not forsaking form!)
